The Inspect and Adapt (I&A) event is held at the end of each PI and has three parts: the PI System Demo, a quantitative and qualitative measurement review, and a retrospective and problem-solving workshop. In the measurement part, the teams review the metrics they agreed to collect, such as the predictability measure built from each team's planned versus actual business value, and discuss the data and trends. Management review and the confidence vote belong to PI Planning, not to I&A. ART Backlog refinement is ongoing preparation work for upcoming PIs, not an I&A agenda item. The Iteration Review is a team event held at the end of every iteration.
