Privacy policy

What we collect

• Account details: email address, name if you give one, and a password we store only as a hash. If you sign in with Google or Facebook we receive your name, email and avatar from them.
• Study activity: which exams you open, answers you save in study mode, timed attempt scores, bookmarks, flags and notes. This is what makes resume and progress work.
• Purchases: what you bought and when. Card details go directly to our payment processor (Stripe); we never see or store your card number.
• Technical data: IP address, browser and device type, and pages requested, in server logs used for security, rate limiting and fixing bugs.

How we use it

To run the service, save your progress, fulfil purchases, answer support requests, prevent abuse, and send transactional email (verification, receipts, password resets). We send marketing email only if you opted in, and every message has an unsubscribe link.

Cookies

We use a session cookie to keep you signed in and a small number of functional cookies for preferences. We do not run third-party advertising cookies.

Sharing

We share data only with processors that help us run the service: payment (Stripe), email delivery, hosting and error monitoring. They act on our instructions. We do not sell personal data.

Retention

Account and study data stay while your account is active. Delete your account from your profile page or by emailing us, and we remove personal data within 30 days, except records we must keep for tax or fraud prevention.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of your data, correct it, or delete it. Email [email protected] and we respond within 30 days.

Changes

We update this policy when our practices change and revise the date at the top.
