Terms of service

1. The service

PrepHoot provides practice questions, explanations, study tools and an exam simulator for IT certification exams. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by or a substitute for any certification vendor. Exam names and codes belong to their owners and are used only to identify the exam a practice set prepares you for.

2. Your account

You need an account to save progress, unlock the full sample bank and buy access. Keep your credentials to yourself; one sign-in is active per account at a time. You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your email address current.

3. Purchases & access

Full access is sold per exam or per package as shown at checkout. Prices are in US dollars and include the modes and content listed on the exam page at the time of purchase. Access is personal, non-transferable and tied to your account. Downloads, where offered, are limited as stated on the download page.

4. Refunds

If the practice content for an exam you bought is materially broken (for example, questions do not load), contact us within 14 days and we will fix it or refund the purchase. We do not refund because you did not pass an exam, or because you changed your mind after using the material.

5. Acceptable use

• Do not copy, scrape, redistribute or resell questions, explanations or any other content.
• Do not share your account or circumvent access controls, rate limits or the sample gate.
• Do not use the service to violate a certification vendor's exam policies.

We may suspend or close accounts that break these rules.

6. Content & accuracy

We work hard to keep questions accurate and current, and we review reports quickly. Even so, content is provided as is, without a guarantee that it is complete, error-free or reflects the live exam. Use it as practice, not as a replacement for official study material.

7. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, PrepHoot is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including exam fees or lost income. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

8. Changes

We may update these terms. When we do, we change the date at the top and, for material changes, notify account holders by email. Continued use after a change means you accept the new terms.
