Yes, the ASQ CMBB exam is open book for both parts. However, all reference materials must be permanently bound with stitching, glue, or secure fasteners. Loose papers and loose-leaf binders are not permitted. Post-It notes are allowed only as tabs for indexing. An on-screen scientific calculator is provided, and candidates may also bring hand-held silent calculators without programmable memory. Graphing calculators are prohibited.
